Really it depends on the relationship you have with your ex husband and the relationship between the husband this particular friend. How close are they? I would let ex hubby know that "so-in-so" asked me out, and I would like to go out with him, how do you feel about that.

You want to avoid as much awkwardness and animosity as possibles.

Depends on how close the friend is to the ex. I would ask the friend if HE is comfortable with this sort of arrangement. If you are trying to stay out of your ex's life, it's not a good idea to start dating his friend.

No easier answer here.
I would say that if you do not have strong and lasting feelings for this person whom you already know then why bother?
If you think it will only remain a frienship then keep it that way now.
If you are seriously interested in this man then take it REALLY REALLY slow. Men talk too you know! And you do not want to be the topic!

No I would leave that alone. Your ex husbands friend doesn't seem worth it. It seems like he is just trying to rub it in your exs face.

nooooooo. that is the ultimate betrayal. How would you feel if you found out that your Ex husband and your best friend were together. If you are okay with it then go for it, but don't hide it from him that will only cause more problems (BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF)

Depends on a few things. On how well you get along with your ex, how close him and his friend our and if its gonna ruin their relationship or if you even care, and how you would feel if you all had to hang out sometime. you need to ask yourself some of these questions. think of every scenario you can and analyze it. what if you guys got married, had kids, ect. ect. good luck!

It would depend on weather I was on good terms with my ex. If I was I would let him know I was interested in one of his friends and ask if it would bother him. He would appreciate knowing it before it happens. I'm not saying you have to abide by what he says but you will know where you stand with him.

No. Too many of the same friends in common, you will probably end up at some of the same functions, and if they stay friends, they will surely compare notes on you.

As long as the guy is single, why not...you're not married anymore to his friend (your ex-husband) so what does it matter. if he (your ex-husband) gets pissed, tough shite...he had his chance and blew it...so I say go for it and be happy.
