They call it war for a reason. Sadly, people die in wars.
I would think you would be thrilled by the deaths of more soldiers considering your constant obnoxious remarks about the troops in Iraq that have been killed. This should actually make you happy. You enjoy making fun of the troops when they are killed or hurt. You also like making comments about the grieving families
of these troops.
And by the way, you do know that we can read, don't you? You don't have to give us daily updates on the war, because we too can read a newspaper and watch the news for the latest updates. Besides, the articles and quotes you always give are rewritten by you to say what you want them to say. You're very good at adding and taking away from the news.
You're a disturbed individual.

Because the enemy we are fighting are not anywhere near as dumb as the Military top hats who are directing operations against them! Nothing changes, our ground military units continues with the same basic army practises i.e. patrols and whatever with precision time tabling. Everything done by the US and Allied military can be monitored, mark down to seconds and pre-emptied at virtually no cost to the insurgents! Our casualties increase every day, what actual daily / ongoing loss does the allied military inflict on Iraqi insurgents??

Fighting to days wars with yesterdays tactics. The military high command never changes, never learns! Go back, dig up, resurrect the old desert / jungle warfare days of yesterdays conflicts, study the tactics of the boare war, where commando tactics emerged and shocked the UK military into acceptance of change and innovation. There are no rules in war! U fight to win. By what rules does Islams insurgency fight?? It doesn't? It'll assassinate, kill murder or whatever - it doesn't have rules. 9/11 opened Islams Way - It'll only be stopped by total the annihilation of Islams vile clerics. While we play by the rules - so will the pigs of Islams faith always endure

The majority of deaths are accidents. They drive crazy in the Middle East and car accidents easily kill more people than from fighting over there. The death rate in the United states is 800 per 100,000 each year. That means 24 Americans on average died with the same number of people (134,000) in the same amount of time (eight days). It's statistically safer to be in Iraq than the U.S.

It is due to not only the fact that it is a wartime environment, but the kind of combat our military is performing versus their overall function and training. We went over there to defeat a direct adversary but now it is not altogether clear what we are supposed to be doing. We are no longer in the "defeat a cogent enemy role" directly but playing more of a policing role with the primary focus on counterinsurgency (hence policing versus military action). We are simultaneously engaging an enemy force while trying to protect the population from both that force and U.S. operations. On top of all of this, the insurgency and the people in Iraq are somewhat opposed to us even being there... It is definitely a "sticky" and complex situation.

For your information. Where I live, we have at least 22 homicide's by the 8th of the month. Mostly in the inner city. We need an exit strategy, and a date for withdrawal before we have civil war. Our mayor is a Democrat and is being challenged by a Republican who says we must solve this problem by being smarter and work with our allies, the police.

Umm, just to let you know. We have always lost many soldiers in all the Wars, that is just the way it is. And we have won wars and we will win this one. We are the most POWERFUL! If you look back in the last wars, are fatalities are much higher.

Because we're winning and things are getting better every day. The insugency is in its death throes. It's just a few bad apples. The capture / death of (insert alleged terrorist leader's name here) means we have turned the corner and are headed to victory. The insurgents are obviously in disarray and leaderless. Because we're winning. Bring 'em on!

You are a bitter little spazz who couldn't cut it in the military, so now you spout crap out of your flapping pie hole. Get off the computer, grow up and find something worthwhile to do. And move out of your momma's basement.
