How long does it usually take to go through the whole process?

You have to pay to adopt in America that shocks me. I'm adopted and all my parents were asked for was a donation to the adoption agency which could have been anything. i admire you for doing this and good luck with it.

It takes a while, you have to get a home study done and then be accepted by the country that you plan on adopting from. On average it cost about 6 to 7 thousand, still a lot cheaper than here. Good luck.

It varies from country to country. I think that it is like $40,000 to adopt from Russia. It costs less from China maybe more like $14,000. It will likely take at least a year.

Actually why bring another kid over here...there are alot of kids in the US that need homes...Why is everyone so quick to help other countries rather than their own???

They should really pay you to take there unwanted children off there hands
