As I love to analyze (and sometimes over-analyze), I can find meaning in ANYTHING. *grin*

Specifically myths, absolutely. I feel one can take away meaning from any story (i.e. the moral of the story). A myth, among other things, is definitely a story.

Every myth began because someone tried to offer an explanation for something they saw or experienced. If you dig deeply enough, you may find truth. Sadly, most people aren't willing to give the effort required to find the truth.

I find explanations for why things occurred and I find that some project a certain moralistic view. I believe myths to be valuable to how we became the society we are today.
