there are guidlines doctors follow showing height and healthy body weight for that height. A man 5'9" should weigh 165 lbs. This chart doesn't take into account the three basic body types Endomorhpic (naturally big) mesomorphic (med. build) and ectomorphic (string bean)

You can substact the number 100 from your hight in centimetres then you get your suitable weight in kilograms,
Inch=2.5 centimetres
Kilogram=2.25 lb

Well it depends on your height and your bones ex: you add five lbs for every inch over 5ft. so if you are 5ft 5 in then you are at 125 but if you are big ,bigger or big big boned you add accordingly. it gives you a range of 125-145 for a 5'5" women.
