How long can strawberries be refrigerated before they go bad? They haven't been cut open or anything. They are still in the plastic container with the lid on it closed.

Strawberries will usually start to get soft in places, indicating that they are losing their freshness. You will notice that the color seems to be darkening and that the texture is getting mushy on the skin. Depending on your fridge, strawberries usually last a week -week and a half. White fur is a bad sign...lol!!!

Typically, 5 days, maybe more. Slightly mushy is okay but moldy is bad.

Depending on how ripe they are, I've had them keep up to a week just fine.

Just check them often to see if they are beginning to soften much, if so use them right away .

If they are still firm and without mold they are fine.

it depends how fresh they were when you bought them. i think it'll last a couple days.

i'd still use them if they aren't squishy or moldy.
