I'm trying to find somewhere in London to book for a work Christmas do. But there's so many places and everywhere has mixed reviews. We went to Abacus last year and want something similar. There's a mix of people but we're looking for somewhere we can have a good meal (for about £30 a head), plus lots of drinking and dancing.

Does anyone have any ideas??

Before I read the rest of your question I was thinking "sure I'll go, I even pay the $70 (american). Sorry, I don't have any other ideas other than finding a large empty space. (ie. a hotel or a ball room) Saving money on having it catered. Now to think of it. My brother is a chef and my wife, sister in law, and myself all work in food service. We could probobly do it (food and service) for just the cost of food and a place to crash while we visit London. Just a thought.

Your local tube station,
have you seen the amount of drunks there dancing? plus McDonalds is probably near by for your food.
All that has got to be cheaper than £30.
