I recently quit my job because I was being sexually, verbally, and physically harrassed by my 18 year old co-worker. When I confronted my boss about his behavior she didnt seem to care. When I went to quit and put my 2 weeks in she acted like I was in the wrong.... Im not sure whether to press charges or to just wipe my hands clean of the whole thing.... lemme know.

As you know being harrassed is illegal. You need to press charges especially because your boss didn't seem to care one way or the other. You can always get another job from somewhere. This is your life he is harrassing. Your boss is dead wrong for not caring about you. When you press charges you will end up having to maybe get a restraining order put against the guy. See it doesnt matter if it wasnt even that bad of a harrassment because you could end up hurt messing around with this guy. He seems like a true moron, TAKE IT FROM ME I know what it is like to be harrassed its no fun. Think about this if you were the one harrassing him you probably would be fired and press charges against. This time you need to take matters into your own hands because sexual verbal and physical harrassment is nothing to play around with.

I dont think that you can press charges for the sexual harrassment, but if you have proof of the physical harrassment you can press charges against him for harrassment....

Your best bet would be to consult with an attorney and file a lawsuit against him, and possibly the company you work for, for not looking into the matter.

No-one male or female should have to put up with that sort of treatment.... I once got fired for reporting my boss for sexual harrassment, I went to an attorney, and would have won the case except the company went bankrupt and the suit had to be dropped!!!!

Talk to the labor board first, seing as how you quit instead of being fired, then consult an attorney....

I would press charges and start a law suit against the company make sure you have witnesses ,, men can't go around doing this and the only way to stop it is to press charges and let them know you are serious . What if he does it again but goes even further ,, think about it this way if it was a friend a sister or your mom you would want to do something about it right ???

Press charges. You were wronged all the way around. It would be one ting if your job took care of the problem, but not only wer they NOt supportive, they made YOU out to be in the wrong. Title 9 of the labor laws say nobody can be harrased or discriminated against because of sex. I would also consult ann attorney. I'd be willing to bet you could get some money out of this, which you deserve, because it cost you your job. Nobody is expected to work in a hostile environment, and shouldnt have to. You would be perfectly justified in suing. This needs to stop. He does. They do. ANd they need to learn a lesson that THEY were all wrong, NOT you.

No one deserves to be harrassed by anyone on the job, at school, or anywhere. You should report it because if he did to you then he will do it to someone else and something worse could happen. You have to take a stand for whats right and don't be afraid or ashamed to tell the truth. He will probably continue to do it until someone takes a stand against him. I pray it works out for you.

You would have had a better case if you was still their, because your boss would have also got in trouble, for not doing nothing about it, you can press charges, but you have to have proof, will any one testify on your behalf? You could talk to a lawyer and get legal advise!

when you said "FEMALE" boss..that automatically raises an eyebrow to me. Most women are nurturers and caring loving etc etc to MEN..but when it comes to women..they lack that care and regard. It also depends on what he did..did he try to have sex with you? rape you? or just touch you somewhere you didn't wanna be touched? remember that pressing charges also has a court date attached to it and it will do nothing to get your old job back. sounds like you should report the boss to upper management or whoever the organization is over your facility-
