To begin with, let’s dissect the statements/questions you make-

1. Worthless war- When is a war “worthwhile”?
2. Lose the war like in Vietnam? Did we actually lose the war?

1. Answer: War is always worthless.
2. Answer: American/Western companies are moving into Vietnam at a furious pace; using up the natural resources and taking advantage of cheap labor. Who ultimately is the winner? Communism- I think not.

And the shame of it all- who sent our troops there in the first place? Our military fights for one reason- and one reason only- to appease the civilian politicians who sent them there in the first place. Shame on our "elected" officials!

"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force;
like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master.
Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action."

No, it wont make us mad at all. Just have to consider the source, A "mentally-challenged-12 yr. old who has been beaten about the head" For your information, we have NEVER lost a war, in the history of this country! And the last to Die as you put it, should be yourself, and all those like you. You are a "Disgrace" to Civilization, and obviously not an American. We stand behind our fighting men here, we don't "Hide" behind them as your 3rd world country most-likely does. Invest in a life, criticizing the Greatest Military that has ever existed in history is not one of your skill's. Also, Grow a brain and get neutered or spayed, whichever fits. I would hate to think that you could possible multiply. But I cant see anyone wanting to do that with the likes of you in the same breath. Have a Nice day kid. God Bless America, And Our Troops! 1st. for one thing, vietnam wasnt a war. it was a police action. It was the first time that we were exposed in that kind of fighting. It was the first time we fought in that kind of vegetation with that kind climate. It was also the first real MOUT fighting that we did. (Military Operations on Urban Terrain) It would be an honor to be the last one to die in any war, because it meant that the conflict was over and it wouldnt matter if the war was pointless, if there could ever be a "pointless war" Every conflict has a point. Some may not be as clear as others, but there are reasons to fight. I find no shame in it. Anyway, if you die in combat, you dont die for your country or cause, you died for your brother fighting along side you so that he can live on and go home and see his family again. That is what happened with me, and that is why I say there is no shame in dieing for a "pointless war"

What the Vietnam war lacked was humanity. That was a cold hard war. I want to thank our Vietnam vets for fighting in a war that seemed to have no end! American soldiers are the best trained and most loyal! I hope and pray that there are no soldiers that will find offense to you or your words. Anger is pointless in the face of ignorance.

I think they'd be more shamed by your statements, than they would about serving their country.
I think most of the soldiers who returned from Vietnam were more affected by the fact that civilian Americans chastised them for having lost the war, than by the fact that they had served their country during a war that was eventually lost.
There should never be shame at having served one's country.
Don't blame the soldiers. Blame the people who can't be bothered to get up off of their dead a**es to go vote, and then gripe about the sad state of affairs our country is in.

No, because the soldier's true purpose of fighting the war is to protect the right and freedom of the American people to make that decision, including the decision to give up.

As an "american soldier"

l laugh at your stupidity.
We lost vietnam POLICITALLY. MILITARILY, we killed a hell of alot more of them then they did us.

As for to be the last to die in this war?

What war? the war in Iraq is actually been declared over. Its peacekeeping and training over there now.

Please. before you go acting like you'll get us mad.. Put time in trying to bash us.

Our soldiers are not responsible for THIS WRONG WAR !
Why they enlisted is not your business or mine. You, obviously , chose to sit on your fat butt, in a well air conditioned office or factory. What i know is that they are killed by ferocious fanatic muslims. My son is a veteran of the Vietnam war , he enlisted in the Army as
a "medic" when he was not yet 18 years old and needed parents signature to join in the Army. He came
back to us with a shatterd mind for seen his friends die
and not been able to save them when they were fatally
injured . He never once regretted to have been a soldier in the United State of America Army. ! My granddaughter is in the USMC and her husband, also a Marines was in Iraq twice so far....So, please, don't blame our soldier ! They are not ashamed to wear the USA uniforme..and they will keep their head up with
pride if we win or loose this war ! You said " OH ! ! the shame of it all !!! " The shame is on you for offending, insulting our brave soldier ! You are a totally cynical idiot. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS !
