I think that the key to true love is trust, friendship, and respect. My wife and I have been married for almost 5 years, but we have known each other for 8. I love the fact that I can look at her and have her know exactly what I am thinking or feeling. I can tell her anything and she is truly my best friend. There is such a great feeling I get from looking into my wife's eyes and feeling completely secure, yet utterly vulnerable, in my love for her. I think sex plays into it, but there is so much more in the emotional connection that makes the love last and keeps our relationship positive. I think true love is knowing that we would do anything at all for each other without any hesitation. That was an excellent question. I am going to cut and paste my answer into an email and send it to my wife, just to remind her about how wonderful she really is.

Yes great sex and independence. If I have an amazing sex connection with the person and they have a lot of desire for me then I quickly start to feel like I could be with them forever. It's amazing how many years a great sex life can keep a relationship together (from a man's perspective)!

Also independence. If I feel like she is a great, independent, intelligent, funny, secure person WITH OR WITHOUT me, then I want to be with her even more! Bit if I feel that she is using me to fill some deep deficit (craves flattery, craves attention, craves drama, craves children, craves a husband, craves someone to pay her bills, craves a daddy for some other guy's child, etc) then that is a huge turnoff!

Love is a committment, and committment is a choice.

You are most likely attracted to another person first, that is VISUAL.

You then decide whether or not you like being around them, once you do it for awhile.....that is a FEELING.

Feelings rule here for awhile, until you are faced with a decision to be inclusive with the individual, or not. Trust issues-good or bad, are incorporated into this decision, based on how your relationship is going.

That decision leads to a committment, and that is a choice. Once you make that choice, you accept the rest as part of that package, and cherish it as part of the bond.

Love is different for everyone. Just be your self and when the right one comes along you'll both know. Sex, great friendship and trust are all important in love but there is so many more things.

well for me, sex is kinda way down in the list. first and foremost I want to know beyond any doubt that i am loved and cared about. I don't want to just hear it, but to see it. If you have no idea how to show it, then you most likely wouldn't be interesting to me. I also want a partner that would like to share the adventures and mischief i tend to get into on a daily basis, be part of the stories, not just a spectator. Show me the love and i'll show you wonderful times and even better sex if that is what you desire.

Its just something unique about a girl that makes me go nuts, something other women dont have, makes me feel she is special and unique. Something that makes me feel "its her or no one else". I like a girl who has a very very hot body (hottest *** in the world), nice hair, spanish skin tone(spanish and protugese origin). Now, most guys dont find her that appealing but there is something that makes me go nuts when she is around me, its her eyes and personality, she doesnt have pretty big eyes, but she gives me a 'look' with her eyes, its such a turn on, and there is something special about the way she dresses and her attitude adn personality. .....Something unique

It's a girl who would let you just be yourself, they would never change a thing about you, and you wouldn't have to put on a fake act just to get them to like you.
