Im from San Diego,CA and I miss my boyfriend of five years. this year i moved to austin, tx for school...ive decided that ima move back to san diego in may...but i really miss him. its his birthday and he and four of his guy buddies went to az for the weekend so i wont talk to him till around Monday. Its hard cuz I dont know anyone here in austin...so theres nothing to keep me distracted out here. help someone. i know its bad for a girl to be this way but this weekend is hard cuz its his bday and i wanna be with him.

It is hard when there is distance involved. My boyfriend and I were living in different states when we first got together. We did the long distance thing for a little over 6 months.
I know you won't be able to talk to him this weekend, since he will be out of town with the guys. The best thing to keep your head up is to think about happy times you two have had together. If he has a cell phone send him a text or a voicemail message wishing him a happy birthday and have fun with the guys.
What types of things do you like? I know it's hard being in a new city/state, espcially when you don't know anyone. My brother is in Austin right now going to UT. There are a lot of different clubs, bars, etc. Find something you like and go out there and do it. Do you get along with any classmates? See if they know of any happenings, and see if you all can go as a group of people. If you got a party, you can get to know people.
Check out the local paper to find local happenings as well.

I really understand where u are coming from. I go crazy if i don't receive a call from my bf. But u know how boys are, like 2 be with their friends. Meet some new friends.

get out and try to meet someone else, or even a couple girls to have some girl time. Pick up a new hobby maybe, try not to think about him.
