We have been together for 3 years now and she wanted to take a break. She still loves me but wants to make sure its not just because we were together for so long. I know what some of the problems were with the relationship and I know I can take care of them. I know she needs time to think but I'm pretty lost without her I know that she is the one. I want her to know what she wants and to feel the same as she did. Tomorrow we are going to a concert together in Philadelphia and I am going to be myself I want it to be like our first date all over again. I want it to be special for both of us and I am going to just be a good friend while there and resist trying to get her back. Suggestions on how to handle this what to and not to do?

don't get all teary eyed and emotional.... just laugh and have a good time together. Kiss her gently at the end of the night and tell her you will call her...

Be yourself man. If she suggested taking a break its because she met some other dude whom she was really attracted to and it freaked her out. She's conflicted on whether to screw the new guy or stay with what she knows. Whatever problems you have are really not the issue because you've made it together three years. She is searching for something... either her own identity or a bigger penis. Sorry! It's true.

Now, I suggest you get more details on this "break". Are u seeing other people? If that's one of the rules, I would find a hottie and take her somewhere where you know either she is or her friends will be and just have fun. She will do a 180 and come running back to you because she is childish and a jealousy ploy will work on her immature brain.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if she wanted a break, chances are she wanted a clean break, but cares too much about you to hurt your feelings. Also, it is very difficult to forgive someone for how they may act on a break, whether they were right or wrong. So good luck, I do hope it works out for you.

Do exactly what you said, be your self. If she loves you as much as you love her then by then end of the night she should be making it obvious that she wants to get back together, otherwise she isn't really the one for you.
