My doctor and pharmicist keep telling me that it will make me better. They even offer free samples and keep telling me everyone is doing it.

ok, street drugs are one thing, medications prescribed by a physician or psychiatrist are different. I dont know what you suffer from, but medication has given me my life back. I was anti meds for the longest time, until it became a serious life and death decision. Peer pressure, screw that. What do you really feel about it? Do you want to be better, have you tried other ways such as holistic healing, and eastern medicines? If it is to make your quality of life better, than I say go ahead. Not because "everyone" is doing it, but because for me personally, the world is a much safer, happier place with my medication. And Im not high as a kite, Im very lucid. So its a personal decision you have to make. I wish you all the best, love, happiness, health, and hope.

There is too little information to render an opinion. What are the doctor and pharmacist recommending them for and what drug are they recommending? If it is a reputable doctor and pharmacy, I might entertain the idea that you are foolish for not following their advice, but then again, I don't know what condition you have that they feel needs pharmaceutical intervention.

ok... here's my view... some drugs are good and help with many illnesses.
If the drugs you are talking about are going to assist you in some form on a medical point of view.... then do your homework on them, find out the side effects and make your mind up from there.
as for illegal drugs.... SAY NO i am 24 and proud to say i have never touched a single illegal substance in my whole life... people who take drugs for fun are not cool.

If u don't want to take it then don't..I mean if it's a life or death situation, then u know what's best for you..but if it's something u can do without..then don't take it if u don't want..doctors get money from prescriptions so they always want to prescribe something to you..just turn them down.

It is different if the DR. is trying to get you to take prescription medications. Typically they know what you need!
