Any other (industrialized) countries within the world, besides the U.S., that have a major illegal immigration problem to the extent of the U.S. or worse, or even somewhat close to it?

Not to the extent, because the US has this enormous, mostly undefended, border with Mexico. For example, there are somewhere between 12 and 20 million Mexican living illegally in the US, but only about 5000 Guatemalans living illegally in Mexico. The border between Mexico and Guatemala is small, mountainous, and defended.

The border between the US and Canada is also long and mostly undefended, but Canada has an reasonable economy and job situation, and there isn't much reason for a Canadian to stay illegally in the US.

But many European nations have illegal immigrant problems. England, France, Italy, and Spain do. Most of the illegal immigrants come from Africa. Italy and Spain's mostly come from sub-Saharan Africa, and France's mostly come from northern Africa..

Spain, Germany, Australia. Virtually all so-called first world nations.

I am so glad you are ASKING this question rather than you jumping in with a false conclusion, as so many do, on Yahoo Answers.
