When I got my hair cut for $15 I gave her $5, but she also did a great job and was really helpful telling me how to style it very easy. $5 is more than enough for a haircut.

I would probably just give him a $20 and tell him to keep the change...who doesn't like a 40% tip?? Especially if he does a good job!

The 15% and 20% rule doesn't apply to non food service...you should tip according to the service provided...$5.00 would be great and an even 20.00 works too. Just think of the impact if they did a bad job....it would last for weeks to months...a bad meal or bad food service isn't worn on your head!

I think 3 to 5 dollars. If they did a good job go higher.

If it is good, leave at least five bucks minimum. If it's bad, leave pocket change and never return. The hair cutter will get the message either way from you as a result.

20 % is of course 2.80 call it 3.00 bucks. If he does a " really good job" make sure he remembers you.
Pay with a twenty and say Thank You.

Give him 4 or 5 if it's really good. If it's just good give him 3.
