Frankly, the economic impact of illegal immigration, which has been negative, not positive as some have claimed. Further, there's the issue of retaining our national identity as a country separate from that of Mexico, which would like to 'join' with us.
I would like to see border enforcement, because 'open borders' isn't working very well. I would also like to see Mexico collectively stand up, and decide to be a country separate from, but neighbors with, the United States.. That would be MOST excellent.

There are several valid points but the one with highest priority is to first secure the borders to prevent more illegals from entering. Then do whatever it takes to round up the illegals who are already here and ship them home. I'm not against immigration but I am against all ILLEGAL activities. Unless you are here legally and are a citizen of the USA, you should not have the rights of a citizen. Until we get the illegal immigration situation under control, employers who hire illegal aliens should have mandatory hefty fines to pay. Property owners who rent to illegal aliens should have to pay manadatory hefty fines. Americans should not have to provide them with government services, food stamps, public schooling, HUD housing, medical services, or interpreters. If they are here illegally, all we should provide them is a free ride back across the border!!

The people bringing the illegals should be shot. Some of the conditions of the transport and provisions are deplorable. Many have died from heat stroke, dehydration, disease, hunger, etc... The migration is no pleasure trip, but the bounty of the U.S.A. is played up by the people who provide the transportion and take the life savings of the immigrants for the trip.

All I know is that my ancestors had to really go through some stuff so that I can live here and have all that I do (opportunity) and it just doesn't seem fair that people can have ALL that I have (rights, Privilege, opportunity) having sacrificed nothing basically if people want to go through the PROPER procedure to be a citizen fine but illegally it just makes taxes higher and the struggle for me and my children (someday) that much harder and that I don't get. Come here if you can afford to not if I have to pay for what I did not consent to.

I believe that the biggest problem we face is the american companies and the consequences of losing the illegals. Many companies in the US hire illegals to performe task and severly under pay them. With the thought of a large crackdown on illegals many companies have already started announcing higher prices on consumer goods. Florida's orange groves employ many illegals. With the inability to hire illegals they have stated that orange prices will go up due to hire wage costs. The problem in the end is that we are basing a large part of the economy on people that shouldn't be in the US to begin with. The fact that the punishments for hireing illegals is so menial has allowed the large corporations to get away with so much. Then they have illegals that aren't getting paid by their employers. They have actually gone to american lawyers to fight for their wages. After winning they aren't forced to go back to their countries. I see a large problem with all of this. They aren't citizens or even here legally and they are entitled to the things that americans are entitled to.

The fake term called "Human rights" ...nothing of the sort has ever existed..it is made up bull s t. The lies that have become almost facts like....the real value of illegals in this country. They will have you believe that we need illegals. Someone has to start seperating the bull from the facts.....and that is the most important thing...knowledge is power

First the border should be secured. That is a no brainer. Then, deportation proceedings should begin. We can get them out of here. We just have to have people who are willing to do it.
