I don't want to leave it too long cause I don't want to get too attatched.

Also he is sensitive and doesn't seem to know that I need romance...

I refuse to turn into a demanding 'why can't you bring me flowers' type of girl..

So have fun for two weeks and dump him very gently and nicely...

Is this a bad plan...

Use these two weeks to check him out and point him in the right direction. So he is getting laid... if he wants that and more (your heart), he will do what it takes... the two week thing is good, that way you don't get too attatched if he doens't give what you need

Yes it is a bad plan that can have bad results because it isn't nice or kind to dump someone and how would you feel if someone dumps you.

What you need to do is be honest with the person to see how he is viewing the friendship you have only if he seem to be respectful and fond of you.

Now in saying that, if he is treating you like a fling than do what you feel because he isn't expecting anything more anyway.

You can't dump someone gently or nicely because the word dump alone is painful especially if the person was expecting more and you led them on until you got what you wanted.

It strikes me that you’re uncertain so why jump the gun to decide to get over him?

First, listen to your intuition because in matters of the heart, there are really no checklists. You have to trust what you feel. But if you’re uncertain how you feel, then try talking to him about it without codes and subtle hints. Be direct.

Of course, that requires some risk-taking, laying yourself bare and there’s a chance that he might just laugh in your face. Or worse tell other people what you said to him. But you’ve heard, nothing ventured, nothing gained. So you’ve to take a step forward to find out if there is space in front of you. Remaining where you are, you’re not going to see anything. The view is not going to get any better.

He could be like many guys. Inarticulate, insensitive and add to that, totally insecure about himself. If he’s the kind of guy you like, and if the answer is important to you, do persist. If not, you know what to do.

You’ve some encouragement from the grapevine. Hopefully it’s a reliable one, and one that’s objective. You can also check with your friends and ask them what they have observed.

If you really like him, you should tell him how you feel. I know it can be embarrassing, especially if he doesn't feel the same way. But look at it this way, you are planning to dump him in two weeks anyways, so what do you really have to lose. But on the other hand you could gain a wonderful relationship.

No, It's not a bad Idea. Just make sure the 2 of you are on the same page. Tell him direct, it's the best way. Also it will enable him to make the decision if he wants to play or not. Have Fun and see where things go.

Having a relationship or even just a fling is complicated it is the risk you need to take go ahead do what you feel like doing but don't be suprise if it turns to something happy or painfull. Just be aware that every actions have their consequences eventhough we thought what we did is fair not everyone will see it that way.... just go with your guts.

Nah, he's too nice to hurt like that. Have a fling with me, instead.

If you dump him, you'll kick yourself 5 years from now wondering "what if." Persue it, and even if it turns out badly, you'll know what happened and there won't be a "what if" to ponder.

Its a mean disrespectful plan. You sure wouldn't want that done to you. playing his emotions and then dumping him after you had your fun ..... shame on you..
