No i'm not trying to eat them~ we have a bet going on at the office ~ half the people say they are if you ingest them and half say no way.

They aren't any more poisonous to eat than most other insects.
If your pet ate one and is still alive, chances are *real* good there's no problem.
If you want to eat one, well... that's a whole different question.

No they are not poisonous. I know someone that has eaten several different types of bugs and spiders- daddy long legs being one of them- and he is still kicking!

Don't think so...I live in the country and my house is full of them...no matter how much we vacuum and clean...pretty sure I ingest a good dozen a week....
