There should be a small pin sized hole on the front of your CD drive somewhere.

Make sure your computer is turned off.

Take a paperclip and straighten it out. Push the end of the paperclip in that small pin sized whole in the front of your CD drive.

As you push it in, you will feel some resistance. That is normal

As you push it in, the gears will turn and open the CD drive manually.

A jammed CD play may mean it's broken but it doesn't mean you have to lose your CD.

With all CD drives, near the eject button is a small hole. Use an straightened paperclip and poke the hole with it. If you push hard enough, but not too hard, you should be able to pop open the CD tray.

There is a way to close it fast without using a paper clip. Actually 2 but one isnt safe to do. The first way involves a hammer you take the hammer and pound the drive closed. It shouldnt break at all if you do it right. Ok now the other way you are going to need the bomb squad for this one. Ok after the bomb squad is there tell them to take the pc outside to a safe area. After it is done have them use explosives to force closed the cd drive. There you go it is closed . Now you can download the crappiest software in the world.

get a small hammer.
hit the front of the cd as hard as you can. You will hear some cracking sounds. This is normal. Continue to pummel the cd drive until the front comes off, or you feel better, which ever comes first.
