The feeling of being in love is difficult to describe, but it's probably the most powerful thing you'll ever experience. The feeling that you can't stand to be apart from the object of your desire and that you'd do anything for them. Of course, the same feelings could be contributed to a serious case of lust, but it IS different. See, told you it was difficult to describe!
All I know is that I didn't think I would ever meet anyone that I really loved (I even doubted if I was capable of love) until I met the man that was to be my husband, then my whole life just changed.
Telling someone who doesn't know how you feel, and therefore being unsure of their feelings, is a tricky situation. I'd love to advise you to just go for it and tell him, but it's a risky manoeuvre and I would probably never be brave enough. All I can advise you is that love is something too rare and too important to waste or throw away. Perhaps you could feel the situation out a bit before leaping in there.

most people do not know if they are in love. that's why they've been in "love" so many times. it is impossible to be in love with someone you do not know. the physical attraction (infatuation)that you are feeling now is not love at all. love takes a certain amount of time to cultivate and grow. it is not a feeling it is a certainty. the Bible defines love as well as any other words i have heard. i'll leave it up to you to look it up. my advice is it is always better to know than to wonder. tell the boy that you are interested in getting to know him as more that an acquaintance. keep the "love" thing to yourself for now, you may scare him off if you reveal those feelings to him. once you have a talk with him you will have reality to base you next move on. now the only thing left is to over come the fear of rejection. what's the worst that could happen? he will tell you that he does not feel the same way about you. if that happens you will be no worse off than your are now. but, if he does feel the same ............

That's a tough question.
Lust is often confused with love. So is infatuation. Its going to take some time before you really find out if its love or something else. Love never goes away. If you find yourself getting annoyed by things that were there from the beginning, then you know its not love. Good luck

If you're truly in love, you wont have to ask someone else how to know. It is a feeling that you know the minute you experience it, and it will last a lifetime. And the only way to let someone know how you feel without sending mixed signals, is to tell them.

When you feel almost physical pain when you are away from him/her and you are all soft and funny inside...kind of emotional all the time...full up and want to sing and dance and shout...
If you think the feeling is mutual then tell them but be cautious, it might end in heartbreak and embarrassment if its not reciprocated. On the other hand...go for it..if you lose them then they didn't feel the same way and maybe they do but are scared or shy or unsure about your feelings/

i dont know you just do its a weird feeling like when your not with them feels like something is missing and where you are your the happiest you can be, well if you feel like you love them then you should at least tell them that you like them and see how they respond.

Therefore, you are probably in lust. Sure, tell him.
