Am I allowed to take solid lipstick on a plane now?

I know that anything liquid is a no-no but what about the solid lipsticks?

Solid lipsticks are fine, as far as TSA is concerned.

You should be fine but put your good lipsticks in the suitcase that's gets loaded below. Use a brand that you don't care if they toss it away on your carry on. Happy Flying :-)

I just flew in and out of two cities in the last week with a bag full of cosmetics in my carry on bag and they were fine.
