I've recently made plans to go on a date with my ex-boyfriend's best friend. We've been broken up for a couple of months, but when he heard he seemed really surprised. Is it just surprise at the thought of us together, or is there a chance he could be jealous?

No matter what they say, it bothers them. Most probably wont let it show though.

i imagine that you've each and every properly to take it the way you're taking it. it truly is kinda fishy that she did not inform you yet like you reported she planned on it yet she likely had a demanding time because she knew that you does no longer take it nicely. at the same time you want to believe that she will in basic terms be pals with this guy and that no longer some thing else will ensue. positive you'd be careful or ought to sense irritating, that's completely established yet having the ability to regulate that and in no way overreact about it truly is yet another component. you ought to inform her the way you sense although because she ought to fee your opinion. then she would think again this guy. She shouldn't threat you over a guy she ought to opt to be pals with ya recognize? its no longer nicely worth all of that.

yes, because during the time with your previous boyfriend, it means you had feelings for his best friend too. It doesnt matter how long ago you broke up

not usually jealousy, its more a betrayal, usually harmfull to thier friendship and in turn to your relations w/ everyone
its one of those "codes of friendship" #1 you dont date friends ex or ex's friends "bro's b4 ho's" (as guys) "gal's b4 pals" (as women)
many times the whole dating ex's friends or friends ex, is a
passive aggressive attempt usually to get back w/ ur ex or to get vengeance, whether or not its a conscious decision.

Yes, big no no, It's disrespectful. Real friends won't do that. I am going off of being with that girl for awhile and being in love.

You're off limits to his "best friend", who had no business asking you out. You don't have to like it; it's Man Law!

That's hands-off! You can't date your ex's friend, unless your ex sets you up with him...especially his best friend!

It would depend if the girl broke up w/me or I broke up with her.
It wouldn't bother me if it was a mutual breakup but if she dumped me, yea that would bother me.
