meat, chicken, fish, eggs, milk, soy, protein powders. You want to be sure and balance the protein intake with sufficient carbs and fats (good monosaturated fats like nuts and nut oils, olive oil). Don't overdo it... your body can only process so much protien and getting rid of the excess is hard on your kidneys. Shoot for about 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight anymore than that and it is just processed as waste.

buy a can of protein powder from the health food store. they not only contain protein, but vitamins as well. I will make a shake after I work and i get totally ripped. i put vanilla soy milk instead of milk in the shake and i buy shakes that are derived from soy instead of milk because it's better for you. milk protein is called whey protein. i don't believe dairy is good for you so i use soy. soy protein is a complete protein so you don't have to worry about it coming from a plant. oh, and make sure you buy one will a low sugar content. it makes a difference. you can also throw fruit in your shake.

Egg whites are the best. Lean meants, cottage cheese, almonds for food. You could go get some protein builder at the GNC store, but that is much more expensive, I think.
