Its an interesting thing to think about. But I don't think the answer is knowable or important. Way I see it, how humans live now and how we will live in the future are much more important questions that deserve the attention that people give to questions of origin. No matter how we came to be, we are. Why stress about it or try to assume we know why?

Curiosity and exploration are inate characteristics of humans. The desire to know all we can as a species is something that is programmed in to us. Some people have more desire than others, but as a whole we want to know who we are, where we came from and where we are going.

because if you use your brain for thinking you sometimes question your own brain, and when you do that you question yourself, and when you do that, you question everything that led up to you, so i guess the next question would be what made what came before me, and the next in line is WHY and if you were to go back to my first example (using your brain in general) you might ask yourself Why am i thinking about this? which would throw you right back to the beginning/end of the circle. there really is no answer, but its worth thinking about if you have enough brain power....so my answer would be - don't worry about it.

And we do know where we came from its called evolution. And it explains a lot.
