I like that response Denny! No man but seriously people do that crap all the time no matter what they believe or are just trying to peddle to the first willing gullible customer. Look at Scientology man they are able to stick around and pretend they are a religion because they find rich people to sell their theories to, and in turn they get funded. In all actuality a Scientologist is an atheist who doesn't want to admit he/she is an atheist. In short it's heaven on earth for the non-believers who are afraid of commitment. But they will come at you and try to sell it as long they think you can turn out to their benefit. And they continually push you until you buy it or until attempting to persuade you begins hurting their wallets.

Let's see... who has passed laws prohibiting homosexual activity? I'm pretty sure that was the heterosexuals. And who has tried to legally define marriage solely to fit their own needs? Yup, that was the heterosexuals, too. And who has committed hate crimes against their fellow human beings, beating and even murdering them for loving differently? That was the heterosexuals, too! So, who exactly is trying to shove their lifestyle down the others' throats again?
I don't think anyone should try to force their lifestyle down anyone else's throats. There's room for all of us in this world if only some of us would get over the fact that people are attracted to who they're attracted to, period. If it's not happening in your bedroom, it's not your business. Personally, I'm proud to be "straight but not narrow."

I think it's because society puts such a taboo on men acting "manly," some make an effort to show everyone that they don't care what people think... or could be that they are just being who they are and society doesn't agree with be proud of something that threatens their "manhood." Ever notice they heterosexual men feel more bothered or threaten by the wany homosexual men act then women do? Not all but a lot of men wrap their whole identity around their manhood that if you threaten it, it's almost like you are threatening their lives.
Nothing is ever good or bad...things in the world are what they are... it's just they way people perceive things.

why do heterosexual try to shove their lifestyles onto homosexuals?
there is nothing wrong with accepting yourself for being the way you are born. like having an identical twin. there are people who consider that to be a freak of nature. an embryo spliting. why should anyone have to live "secretly" for being considered "different"? especially when they were born this way?
and why is this in the r&s section?

Maybe you should worry less about them and more about yourself. Why do some religious people try and shove their lifestyle down the the throats of other people?
Because they are PROUD of it. Both groups are proud. And pride's a sin too. Imagine that.

Why do some straight people assume that they do? I'm straight, and I have NEVER observed ANYONE homosexual seriously trying to "shove their lifestyle down [my] throat." And I'm in the GLBT advocacy/support group at my school, for christ's sake!
Jesus, get over yourselves.

Why are you trying to shove you anti-homosexual agenda like that is something good? Because we are all different and anything out of the ordinary will be noticed. And why is this under religion & sprituality (like I don't know)

They know they are considered abnormal in the society, so they think they can change society. They beleive that if they keep shoving, eventually people will accept them as normal. They think their campaign is like the civil rights movement and they should be accepted as equal. Problem is, most people accept them as human beings, but don't want to hear about their sexuality.

Probably because religious bible thumpers have been shoving "It's wrong! It's immoral! It's against God's teachings!" down their throats for so long. Being gay isn't contagious, so don't worry about it.
