As a youngster who attended a Christian High School and 1 year of Bible college in the early 1970s I would have to say that perhaps this guy is exaggerating a little bit but in essence is telling the truth. These places DO NOT tolerate individuality. Their world view is fanatical and skewed. It is not a psychologically healthy environment to be in.
I was treated pretty cruelly while I was at my 'institution' of 'higher' learning too. I'd say the guy tells the truth. Bob Jones was a 'Mecca' that many aspired to attend. I also knew people who went there.

Yes, it's entirely true. Bob Jones U. is a joke in the educational system. That's why it's not an accredited university. Personally, I think there should be a law against the place even existing (unless it had disclaimer signs all over the building explaining that it's not a true university, and that its classes were for entertainment, etc)

Bob Jones University sounds like a University run by the Taliban. There is no difference. Maybe the Taliban graduated from there.

I went to hardship-loose college at a christian organisation whose instructors *all* graduated from Bob Jones college. I grew up near Bob Jones U. I worked with a few students from there. They have some weird habits. It is a strange place.

It is and it is a shame that they claim to be Christians.
But not surprising, a lot of people and organizations and churches and religions claim the name of Christianity when in fact they are not following Christ.
It will be a glorious day when Jesus returns for us and God will judge the living and the dead.
