i have short hair. i blow dry my hair in the morning then straighten it. what can i apply to my hair after i get out of the shower and before i blow dry so it wont get so damaged. also to make it shine and add volume

Look for a gloss serum to apply after straightening your hair. There are many brands out there at Target, choose the one that most suits your hair type. If you choose one that is too heavy, it will weight your hair down and make it look greasy. Choose one that is light if at all possible if you have fine to normal hair.

You can't but a good product from target for your hair, go to a supply store, it may cost a little more but it works better because it's the real stuff, unlike target, they may have brands that would be in a supply store but they use different ingredients in them, that's why it cost lest in department stores.

I am not really sure what it is called but it is in a red srapy bottle and it puts mositure in your hair so that the blow dryer does not take the mositure out of your hair. Look for it. my friend has it and it works great!
