So does anyone thing that if Allah rewards Muslims with 77 virgins, he is kind of a pervert? I mean, if I am dieng and transcending reality to the kingdom of heaven, I sure am hoping I have also transcended the biological need to reproduce.

I think 77 virgins would get boring. After defiling about 20 or so in every way possible, I'd want a chick with some freakin' experience. Teaching 77 virgins how to do everything is close enough to hell that I say no thanks.

Allah means God in Arabic, there are 72 virgins waiting for a Muslim that dies in holy war, that's Jihad in Arabic. this belief is part of Islam, I find it as reasonable as some of the beliefs you find in Christianity, Judaism and other religions, they all contain a significant level of superstitious nonsense

No, cause you have to be faithfull to the very end.
You could be faithfull, have the 77 and then do something bad, so you must wait till you're in heaven.
At least thats my interpretation.

Read the quaran it is 70 virgins. There is a reason for that.
during a kings life time he usually had 70 virgins.
So they get what a king gets.
So yes I guess you would be right, if your a king. You can have 70 virgins.
