The hatred is not in the words themselves. It is in speakers' minds. I know someone... who is a bastard. The meaning of the word! I mean... if I look it up in a dictionary, it says: "The illegitimate offspring of unmarried parents". But... I can't use tha word, of course. Why? Not because of that deffinition. it is because of this one: "(obscene) insulting terms of address for people who are stupid or irritating or ridiculous". The other deffinition... is worthless. Who cares the word means that. NOBODY will think of that one. They will ALWAYS think of the second one.
When somebody calls me stupid (or something i nthat line), I must be wise to recognize when that person is using the word as a descriptive term or as an insult. It is a hard thing to do, as I'll rush to "strike back". I still have too much to learn.

since we are so used to people offending us with those bad words than we already feel frustrated and with something else we just think its normal or we just take it as a joke when they say something else :)
