Generally, no. The 18-year-old may have different expectations from a dating relationship than you might have. It's better to stay with people who are in the same social circumstances (i.e. go to the same school as you), at your age.
Some day you will have an age-appropriate boyfriend. It's normal. When you do, though, don't neglect the rest of your life -- your schoolwork, family, other friends, hobbies. Balance is good.
Be sure to show your question, and the answers you receive, to your mom. Believe it or not, she was fourteen once. Good luck.

No way on earth. If he is talking about you being sexy with you being that young, then he is only after some sex. And he is figuring the only outlet he has since you live on his street if he doesn't have a gf right now. Tell him no, with a group of your friends or just invite him over when your parents are home and still tell him no.

Darling I dont know where you are but here in Georgia kids 18 get arrested everyday cause he is considered an adult. He is trying to get into your pants plain and simple and thinks that since girls his own age dont want anything to do with him he goes down. Dont walk Run from this guy. No offense to you at all but a normal 18 year old guy would have nothing to do with a 14 year old.
Good Luck

Well, I recently advised my cousin (14) on a similar matter (17). At first I thought: Wow, he's like my age. Then, I reconsidered it and said: But why not?
My opinion is: you should go out with him. Be cautious, though. Not all boys at this age think necessarily of how to make love with younger girls, but a lot of them are more emotionally mature and may have more experiences in relationships than you. Just try to be yourself, and don't do things you normally wouldn't. Just be your usual self. That's pretty cool.

If you do decide to go, make it a group thing just to be safe. It's already odd that an 18 yr old is telling you (a 14 yr old) that you're sexy. Something about that just seems wrong already.
Be careful.

No. He will get in trouble.
Of course asking a 14 year old out, he probably deserves all the trouble that comes of it. So yeah, go for it.

First does he know that you are 14? Second, do you know this guy at all? And third... Talk to your parents about it. If they agree that its ok.. then well its ok. But if not, just wait until later. There is plenty of time to date older men but right now honey your just too young. Good Luck.
