Everyone who answered "No, definitely not!" are completely ignorant. All dogs are capable of having two different color eyes. I know it is common in Australian Sheepdogs, but as I look at Sheepdogs, its definitely NOT UNCOMMON. I actually own one with one bright blue eye and one brown. Hes an absolute sweet heart and dont let that change your mind from getting one, that would make you a complete judgemental, jerk if you did. They cant help it and it does not change their personality. They are wonderful dogs that love alot.

No, not all sheepdogs have different color eyes. Sometimes they are both the same color. It is usually passed down the the male genitics.

I have 2 old english, the older one has 2 china blue eyes, and the young one has 1 blue and 1 brown, I have seen a lot of o.e.s. with the mixed colour eyes and they are just as healthy as one with 2 eyes the same colour.

No, most dogs that have two different colored eyes have a genetic mutation that allows them to have different colored eyes. And I have never heard of English Sheepdogs having two different colored eyes, only Australian Cattle Dogs

I believe this is a relatively rare trait. I have had three OES's, and all have had brown eyes. For some lovers of the breed, It is highly desirable to have an OES with blue eyes.

From the Standard
"Eyes-- Brown, blue or one of each. If brown, very dark is preferred. If blue, a pearl, china or wall-eye is considered typical. An amber or yellow eye is most objectionable. "
