i'm part british and ive always wanted to speak british. i already know how to pronounce certain words, but i'd like to have an accent.

I think this is wonderful. So many people, fellow Britons included, try to speak through their noses and use American expressions so it's refreshing to read a question like yours. I think, however, that we should keep our own accents and be proud of them.

be specific, british means you could be welsh scottish english or irish.
