yes, I was held up for 6 hours and the plane was on the runway for another 1i/2 hrs

I was there last week flying out of terminal 3. I was glad I printed out my boarding pass online because I was just able to go to the Air Canada baggage drop desk. The whole check-in process took about 5 minutes. The security lines were really long (I mean REALLY long) but they went rather fast. I'd say about 30 minutes tops. So from arriving at the airport to getting to my gate it was under an hour. That said, the transport to the airport was awful since the Piccadilly line had replacement bus service from Hatton Cross and that's what really delayed my trip. I left my house 3 hours in advance but made my flight by 10 minutes.
