Sorry, but the last I checked kidney beans grew from a vine just like all other beans. They are not a meat, no animal was killed or harmed in any way to get them, so I am sure vegetarians can eat them.

The answer you are looking for is "The Pulse". Its kinda like a vegetable cat but without the tail and it frequents allotments [in England anyway]
Vegetarians can eat pulses and also kidney beans but they are likely to fart uncontrolably and malodourously unless they include some chopped garlic

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

Kidney beans are beans, not real kidneys. There's pigeon peas thought? Maybe the answer is pegion, pigeon. They're a type of bean too.

Don't you have anything better to do?
Kidney beans are from a plant, buffalo do not have wings and Chicken of the Sea is a brand of tuna.

i dont think its an animal. it might be a plant bearing kidney beans. i think it is an edible and nutritious usually kidney-shaped seed of any of various cultivated beans of the common species (Phaseolus vulgaris) a large dark red kidney bean
