Its a personal "feel" thing. I have an Adam's golf lob wedge. I actually bought it on eBay and I LOVE it. But golf is weird. If you don't believe me, go to a golf store and look at the putters!

I suggest you get him a gift certificate, or promise to take him shopping for one. He'll need to swing it a few times before he knows what he wants.

Good luck! Any woman that buys her man golf items is a Goddess in my mind! Be sure and tell him he is one lucky... guy.

The Titliest Vokey and the Cleveland CG10/CG11 are generally considered "best", but it's really a personal preference. I would recommend you sneak a peek at his clubs and see what brand his other wedges are. If he has, for instance, a Ping gap wedge and sand wedge he would probably prefer a matching Ping lob wedge. You'll also need to know the loft of his existing wedges. Lob wedges come in different lofts, and if he has a 56* sand wedge you wouldn't want to buy a 58* lob wedge.

If your boyfriend knows quite a bit about golf he will know about the best wedges on the market aswell.Take a look at the clubs he has in his own bag at the minute..he may use ping , callaway titliest etc.so obviuosly he rates these clubs already and any of these wdges are a good choice!.I did a bit of research looking for a wedge myself about a month ago and I decided that titliest vokey spin milled face was the best so if you got him one of those you will definately be buying at least one of the top 3 wedges on the market!....e-bay or local pro shop...good luck!

I use a Carbite, and It works fine. The best ones are a Cleveland Golf CG10, Titleist Vokey, and Callaway X Tour.

Cleveland, and not too many people will argue. I do however recommend that you buy one from with exchange policy. Many golfers are quite comfortable with what they have in the bag already. There is also the 14 club limit (if he plays somewhat normal golf) so maybe he has already found his 14 best friends.

Cleveland.

Either Titlist Vokey or Cleavland. I've got a Vokey 60 deg. and a Cleveland sand wedge. Both great clubs.

Cleveland CG-10 Black Pearls......I have 2 in my bag, a 54 degree standard bounce and a 60 degree standard bounce and i love them............but, im with one of the answers previously posted, i would just drive him to a golf shop and let him pick what he wants, cause we golfers are awful picky about our equipment...........it keeps us from coming home after a round and going "babe, that lob wedge you bought me sucks"

Cleveland golf makes great wedges. If not those go with a Ping.
