If it still smells fine, I would.

As long as it has been in the frig, may be OK. Smell and taste a small amount-if sour, DON'T use. Many people leave the milk on the table for an hour or so when they eat. I've always poured the milk and put the jug right back in the frig.

I certainly would if it smells ok. Pull dates are a ploy by the stores and dairies to sell more milk. Mine is always fresh for at least another week, sometimes two. I keep my fridge at 42 degrees F.

milk is good 10 days after the exp. date so if it say sell by 9/2 you got until 9/12 then it will be bad, they give the ten days so the store have time to take them of the shelf.

I would drink it. That is the Sell By date it should be good for about 1 or 2 weeks, depending on how cold your fridge is and it has not been kept unrefridgerated. If it smells bad or has become lumpy, don't drink it.

My personal rule of thumb? Drink without hesitation the day after the expiration date, Smell it first and take an exploratory drink on the second, Give to the dog past the second day!

Yeah it is fine to drink. In truth the sell by date is significantly earlier then when it spoils. If in doubt pour a glass and smell it. If it smells bad it is, if it smells fine you will be fine. As most milk is pasturized there isn't much in the way of bacteria that will grow that will make you sick.

If it's just past the Sell-by date, then it's good for 1 week after it's been opened. If in doubt, smell it.
If there's a sell-by date, there should be a use-by date on it somewhere as well.

A sell by date is not an expiration date, however, milk goes bad quickly. You have to TEST it. If it smells OK, take a SMALL taste. That's the only way to know.

These sell by dates and expiration dates on meats, etc. are meant to be guidelines only. This does NOT meant that the food products will do you harm after this posted date. I would have no problems drinking the milk.

Unless spoiled milk is your thing no. My mother use to tell me that milk is only good like 5 days after the expiration date. Sometimes less. Smell the milk if it smells sour it is. Pour it out and go buy some more.
