That's because yours wasn't silent! lol
Actually, you can reduce the problem by feeding a kibble with no soy (beans, after all!) or corn (indigestible) or beet pulp (discourages complete digestion)..

What are you feeding your dog? If you are feeding table scraps and other foods not specifically for dogs digestive system, this can occur. It is from a bacteria in the digestive track. Purchase a healthy well balanced dog food designed for dogs. Avoid table scraps. Give fresh water at least twice daily. Be sure to walk your dog regularly to help aid with diogestion. Keep the dog food bowls clean. Bathe the dog frequently, as they do tend to lick their fur too. This should clear up. If not see the vet and have some labs done. There are meds for dog flatuence too. Maybe, you could place your dog outside or in another room when entertaining guests.

Most often the Rescue locations just feed anything meals they are able to get they can even combine all the foods together. They aren't the best form of meals. So try and start him on a fairly good meals. That is food now not most likely found on the grocery store. Try a position like Petco or Petsmart. They have the easier meals, they may fee more, sooner or later you will not be paying as a lot because you'll most likely feed less. It will traditionally take a few day for him to make himself relaxed in his new how. It's so first-rate you may have Rescue him you could have done a uncommon thing. Just right good fortune together with your new friend.

Usually the Rescue locations simply feed some thing meals they are able to get they will also combine all of the meals in combination. They don't seem to be the quality kind of meals. So attempt to begin him on a rather well meals. This is meals now not typically discovered on the grocery retailer. Try a position like Petco or Petsmart. They have the larger meals, they are going to price extra, finally you will not be paying as a lot given that you're going to regularly feed much less. It will regularly take a couple of day for him to make himself relaxed in his new how. It is so fine you may have Rescue him you may have performed a distinguished factor. Good Luck along with your new pal.

I don't have a dog. You must be feeding your dog the
wrong dog food or even worse, people food. That is
generally the problem.

HA HA HA!
I used to have a minpin... prissy as all hell. She would be laying there all pretty and all of a sudden fart. Then she would run like a bat out of hell away, wondering what it was!
Oh, it was funny.
I think it is because of the food too. (occasionally she would steal out of the trash)

My dog does fart a lot, but they aren't silent. No, they are LOUD. And everytime he farts, he turns around and looks at his butt to see where that noise came from.
It sucks when your dog farts and you can't convince people it really wasn't you, it was your dog!! : )

My dog burps more often than she farts. It's normally right after she's eaten, and mostly just when she's eaten a bit too fast.
