He is also less playful and sleeps more. The veterinarian hasn't made a diagnosis yet. He is waiting for the conjunctivitis to clear. But I'm worried. Any idea would help!

sounds like the cat may have a neurological problem.

He needs glasses? I'm messing, of course.

Neurological problems....or maybe it's an after-affect of the conjuctivitis.

Is he currently on medication for the conjunctivitis? Because that could simply be making him "loopy".

One of my cats is like that too. The people I get her from used to blow pot smoke in her face. Awful, I know. I have just always thought she was slightly cross-eyed.

Is your cat siamese? Siamese do have a tendency for lazy eyes, I have heard. Are you giving him drops that are maybe drying his eyes out and that is just a reaction? I would trust the doc, she will be able to see test results to see if anything is going on.
