OK, here's the deal; I have a 14lb. male and a 7lb. female. We recently moved, and our new vet is a block away, which is very convenient. We only have one car, and my husband works until 3...so since I'm home, I figured taking the cats to the vet myself would be easy. Just walk them down there in a carrier. However, Lotus had an appointment yesterday, and walking down there with over 7bs. hanging off my arm was a bit uncomfortable. So I'm definitely not going to try lugging Blaze down there in that fashion.
I always thought cat strollers were the most ridiculous thing, but I did tell my husband it would be convenient for walking your cat to the vet. So now I'm considering investing in one. Does anyone here have one or know someone who does? How has it worked out? If it were just for vet visits, I wouldn't be asking, but I figure if I'm going to pay a good amount for one, I might as well take the cats for walks on occasion. Any opinions are appreciated!

Bobbie Jo M, the strollers are enclosed. And if you'd read my question in its entirety, you'd know that I DID use a cat carrier. That's the point.
Thanks to everyone for the answers!

Nirvanagrl, they basically look like any stroller, only they're enclosed. Here's a link to a picture.

Thanks, catlover! I'm glad to hear someone has experience with one, and that the experience has been good.

Thanks Kitty Kat. I did have her in a carrier (just to be clear, lol)....and she's so small that she has a small one. That's why I dread trying to take Blaze down there....his carrier is quite a bit bigger...it was originally used for a medium sized dog, lol.

Terra T, thanks, but I have a harness and leash for my male. Ever tried walking a cat on a harness? I'd do it if I didn't need to be at the vet at a certain time.
And my cats aren't fat, thanks. Blaze is a very large tiger male (ever seen how big they can get), and Lotus....even though she's 7lbs, you can still feel her spine (still in scrawny "shelter cat" form).
