My brother is believed to have cancer of the liver, at first cirrhosis of liver. I have heard about this church in New Mexico called sanctuary of Chimayo that is said have cured many people that have visited this site. It is also said that there are many people that make annual pilgrimage to this church, some walking for miles some even crawling for miles. I am not certain if this is done as some sort of sacrificial offering or exchange. My brother says if he can receive a miracle cure that there, he should have the same chances of receiving one where he is now. I need some serious opinions on this matter.

Usually, the only 'miracle' in such cases is how miraculously the owners of such churches profit from the misery & sickness of others. I suppose it can't hurt your brother to try, and of course there is good evidence that someone who believes they will get well has a better chance of doing so. But I would guess that 99.9% of so-called miracle cures are pure bull.

they arent miracles from god, its just an ordinary chance. people who dont even believe in god or have anyone praying for them have been "miraculously" healed. its dependant upon that persons body structure, immune system, eating habbits, and many other factors that could lead to a recovery from something that might not be so in a majority of other people.
people think the more people praying about a certain topic the more likely it will be that god does somethign about it. hwoever if that was the case there would be no more war (we all know peace is one of the most prayed for subjects)

Jesus promised healing for all those who believe in him. But he doesn't say that you should need to go to a specfic location to recieve it, so the idea of an exchange is wrong.
However, there has een some resarch done into some "miraculous places" and there is a theory that in some places, there are portals into heaven, like in Jacob's vision with the ladder and angles going in and out of heaven on it. However, on the same note, Christians are all called to be windows into heaven, and to send angels to do God's will. in essence, we are all called to be jacobs ladders.
So, you could go to this place and probably would recieve healig. However, if you recieve prayer form a few christians, God laso promises healing for you. Amen.

There is no such thing as miracles. It is too easy to see something happen and just say it was a miracle. It is harder to see something happen, wonder why is occured, and investigate the mechanisms. Miracles are a cop out of a non-curious mind.

although if we do no longer have the solutions to each thing does no longer mean the Bible isn't authentic. We basically don't know why God would not look to heal amputees. a minimum of, no longer in any documented case that i'm attentive to. yet I do in my view know of those who did have a diagnosis of maximum cancers, or perhaps as they went in for surgical treatment to eliminate a tumor the tumor replaced into lengthy gone. that still does no longer practice the Bible to be authentic. i'm basically pointing out that there are situations of healings and there are situations the position each body isn't healed. Neither one proves or disproves the existence of God. besides the undeniable fact that your declare "amputees get no miracles from God" isn't inevitably authentic -- it truly is honestly a logical fallacy. basically because their limbs may no longer improve back does no longer mean they are not receiving different miracles from God. __________________ It honestly isn't scriptural that amputees are being made to wade through for others or for his or her very own sins. as a be counted of reality, Jesus taught hostile to this kind of hateful approach.

I am all for miracle cures ,but crawling and suffering for miles in my opinion is not a God thing. Prayer works from where you are, no need to go somewhere special. I will add your family to my prayers. God Bless
Hope that helps!

Its all Bullcrap! No man has the power to heal or perform miracles. What some people are gifted with is the ability to create illusions!

God is the only source of miracles.

A doctor told me once that there are medical miracles -- meaning recoveries that they cannot explain -- but they are few and far between.
