I've only ever got down to 10.7 - I'm pretty proud of that considering a general lack of practice +decent knowledge of swing mechanics that I had at the time. The 10.7 came bout 2years ago before, a year ago, I began slicing terribly. After a couple months of hard work, I've beat that slice and now I can Draw/Hook the ball very well and I'm back playing with a new, more consistent swing [I shot +16 playing into some very stiff winds yesterday, so ' I'm back ']

The reason I ask bout Handicaps, is because I'm always interested in hearing ANYTHING regarding Golf

When I played pro golf on the mini tours it was +.09 which is just under scratch. Not good enough to play on tour.

Tiger carries something like a +6 which is insane.

When I was in college, it was an 8. It has only gotten worse since then. I think I'm like a 12 or 13 now.

I was a 6.6 in 2000, now a 9,9 even though I hit the ball better than in 2000 thanks to new technology. To get better I need to play more and get my short game razor sharp. You can get to 10 as a ball striker but to go lower you need to improve the short game.
