telling Americas youth they must serve their country, ( by being in the military)one way or another. It is not the point of weather or not I agree, because I do to a point) ,but my kids don't need the likes of you tell me or mine what they must do. Who gives you the right to dictate policy to America's youth. I've been in the military and I feel my kids can do without being torn down to the ground and built back up the way this country has in mind , if fact I have lost all hope in Christians, Republicans, conservatives, and the rest of you spun ducks.Just mind your own business Christian Science Monitor, enjoy your short time in the sun and keep your idols out of my business, as I will be delighted to stay out of yours!

I heard that Rense! Where do they get off making such a ridiculous statement? They would have got the same results if they had said, :" Tell all of your children to become journalist's for the christian-science-monitor, so they too can be abducted and used as propaganda tools for the islamofascist's"!! Their comments should not reflect on your opinion towards the christian community. You just have to consider the source you know? Like you said, they are "Idiots", plain and simple. Even though I do not consider myself a christian, I do believe in God, And I would not let their rhetoric dictate my opinion towards any religion what-so-ever. That would be "Stooping To Their Level". Outside of that,, Great Commentary Rense! Could not agree more! God Bless America, And our Troops! 1st. Sgt., 7th Special Forces, (Ret.) Vietnam, "67"-"70"

Well I'm not sure if there is a question here as much as a non-sensical diatribe, but I will jump to the defense of the CSMonitor. And since you failed to provide a link to the article you reference I have to work off the purely off the text of your rant.
The CSMonitor is one of the most respected, analytical, unbiased news outlets in the US today. I read it regularly, along with the NY Times, LA Times and the Sacramento Bee. At times I have disagreed with the Monitor and the opinion of its writers, I found the arguments to be well researched, reasonably founded and well thought out.
Now, for your information, Christians, Republicans and conservatives should not be lumped together as one singular group. They are three distinct groups of people with some shared values. I would remind you that without each of these groups, you would not share many of the benefits that you now enjoy and the world would be at a greater disadvantage than it is now. Specifically thanks to the contributions of Christian organizations which do tremendous work in making this world a better place. Some examples of Christian contributions include; the public school system, the Salvation Army, the largest FREE healthcare systems worldwide, universities, adoption programs, and the list goes on.
Republican is a political organization that works on behalf of its members to advance specific political agendas.
Conservatives are people who hold to traditional value systems.
As far as requiring children to join the military, what would be wrong with that? Education is compulsory, why not military service. I would venture to say that if military was compulsory, we would have less crime, a higher employment rate, and people would be more productive all around. In many countries military service is required, especially if you want to vote. In Israel, everyone is in the military. After 2 years of service, soldiers become reservists. If truly you had served in the military, you would recognize the benefits of military service.

Short time in the sun? It started printing news in 1908!
I feel your anger, but a letter to the editor might do more good than posting it on Yahoo!Answers. Precisely 7% of users on this site even know what the CSM is.

The country...and the world...will be a much better place when all people begin to focus on their responsibilities and obligations rather than demanding rights and entitlements.
Obviously, you have your hand out and it isn't getting filled fast enough. Well, before you take anything else...give something back and consider others before yourself....it's contagious and it works.
OH...is that not a liberal idea...too bad...
