Turn off the Lock switch on the card. Then go to the properties page of the memory card and make sure the "read-only" box isn't checked.

That memory card works just like any floppy disk or video tape; there is always a tab that you can futz around with to make it write protected or erasable. Now if only people's memories were like that, then I might feel a little better about some past regrets.

There's a little slider switch on the side.
Sounds like it's got knocked into the *write protect* position.

If it's an SD card, there is a little lock on the side of the card. Unlock it, and now you can format it and use it again.

optimal in all probability the small tab indoors has broken off and has left the cardboard in write guard mode. i've got have been given it happen in a pair of bounce drives that had clean circumstances the area you would be able to desire to desire to substantiate the plastic had broken off. are you able to pay interest some thing as quickly as you shake the cardboard? in case you do, optimal in all probability its a lost reason.
