It might be a little off for a while, coming at unexpected times. It should regulate after a few cycles, though.

I see people crying over spilled milk again.....

it take 2-4 months to regulate just like the first response said. don't forget to go to a follow up exam. There have been reports of scarring and the inability of having future children with some doctors negligence so it helps to get a critical second opinion. let the doctor know of your concern.

and try depo as a BC in the future. i love that stuff! so reliable when taken on time.

FIrst EVERYONE lives with their OWN decisions, also no one knows WHY you did what you did, and all these people here who are calling you a baby killer don't know the whole story and all I do know is that GOD TAUGHT ME NOT TO JUDGE BECAUSE ITS HIS JOB!

ANYHOW, (fyi It would have to be life threatening before I would consider it for myself)

BUT! That aside, I miscarried and had to have a D&C in 2001, from what I understand this is very similar to the surgery in early abortions. I am not sure if that is true but that is what I have been told. My period took about 3 months to get back onto a schedule. Don't know if that helps or not but hope so...........

Did you expect things to just go right back to normal after an abortion? You've put your uterus through a traumatic experience--one that it wasn't used to, and one that shouldn't have happened. I would talk with your ob/gyn if I were you.
