If you dont want to look at the pics. I currently have a dirtyblonde color with a slight orange shine when im in the light, I have pale skin and I wear a lot of black! So please help!

I checked out your pic and with your skin color and eye color you should try a plum shade, or maybe a deep red/auburn shade. The blonde/orange needs to go. Nothing bright red or orange. You may even like a warm brown shade with blonde highlights (although that may sound a little ordinary). I went to a friends last night for dinner and she has the same complexion and eye color as you. She also wears a lot of black and likes to express herself. Her hair is long and she did the front in purple and the rest in bright blue. I wouldn't do it myself, but it looks great on her! Just experiment, you can always change the color if you don't like it. (To get the bright colors to really stand out, she went blonde first) Although it does damage your hair, with a good conditioner and a trim when your done, it will look great!

Hi, I'm also dirty blond, and the best tip I can give is dont color the whole head of hair, but simply highlight it if you want to go lighter or low-light it if you want to go darker.
Because dirty or medium blond (7) is so neutral, just adding a small touch of color will have a big effect.
If I want to look blond, I simply have highlights put in. Once a few years back I had rich chocolate brown low-lights put in, and it look very elegant.
I know the mousy color we both had can be boring at times so I dont blame you.
But trust me whatever color you choose, go for streaks, it's less damaging and in a subtle way has a great effect!

Try purple, It goes great with black. Hair color is completely changeable, so if you don't like it then try again. Good Luck.

its fine how it is. but if you want to, try to lighten it. through some caramels, dark browns, browns, light browns. just no brassy blondes. maybe even some auburns
