i'm a 24-year-old girl from Japan. I've never eaten whale, dog, rat.....
yeah, people used to eat whale long time ago. maybe like 40 years ago. but whale are about to extinct, so we are not allow to kill them anymore.

Each country (or could be race, state, sex, whatever) has different culture. we need to respect each other not hate each other. sorry, as a JAP, i'm really disappointed in you.

The people of a specific culture eat different foods because different foods are available to them. Japan is an island, so they likely adapted to eating whatever they could, because in the past, they would have had greater difficulty getting different kinds of food.

Well, since I eat things that once had a head, I can't be one to talk, now can I? Cows, chickens, fish, pigs...yup, they all had heads at one time. Who's to say which animal is smarter?

Watch Iron Chef. Every episode has a dish that features eyes in soup, or something. I swear, they think entrails are a delicacy. I wouldn't eat anything that has/had a face!

I'm ok with it. Meat is meat eat what you like. I've never tried whale but when I was in Japan I had dog and it makes a fine meal.

um, chicken, cow, pig, tuna, shrimp, all foods we eat planty of here in the US, and have heads. Why are you picking on Japanese? Just join PETA and go on hating all us carnivores.
