went to a h.s. reunion, a guy i had a crush on in h.s. asked me for my number. We had fun dancing and talking. It's been almost 30 years since h.s. He's recently divorced. He hasn't called. It's been 5 days. He hasn't called. Is he gonna call, or should I just forget him. I don't date much. I never meet anyone I'm interested in.

I never "wait" for anybody to call. They should call the very next day. If they dont call within 3 days dont waste your time. They aren't that into you.

I would normally say 2 to 3 weeks. Cuz ppl do tend to get busy at times. But I still believe for guys when they say they will call you its the kiss of death. Because even though you think they had a great time and all, for them its just a mini goal to obtain a number. Even if they aren't that into you, just knowing they got it so fast is a victory. Not to mention the fact that a guy figures if he says he'll call you, he can always use the likely excuse that he lost your number if he sees you out on the street and you ask him about it. Or hoping that you forget about him after a while and move on naturally. And being a h.s. reunion I really wouldn't put much stock into getting things started at one of those, because there are some ppl still living in the freaking past. If they were a football Jock or whatever, they will hold that memory forever. Just forget him and move on.

I would say a month.
And after the first week, I would stop 'waiting' and just adapt a more casual additude. Sometimes people get very caught up in their lives and forget to make calls, etc.

If I give my number out I don't expect a call. That way I don't have to worry if they call or not. They usually do by day 3 though....

Do you really believe he is divorced? How do you know this? If he hasn't called in 3 days, something is rotten in Denmark. Let it go.

maybe he lost your number.... give him a call... then if he says i am glad you called.. your safe.... if he doesn't.. you know he never planned on calling you....
