Depends on the guy. Most of the time we'll never call back the next day because we don't wanna seem too desperate and needy. Don't sit around and wait for him to call anyway. He'll call when he's ready. If he doesn't call, well hey it's his loss

You should expect a call between now (day 2) to Day 7. If he hasn't called within a week to just see how things are going, I would move on.
Just in case, did you give him the right number?

If he really liked you, a minimum of 3 days. Usually best to wait until a Saturday afternoon from the time you met him. So if you met him recently, you might have to wait up to a week before the call.

Being a guy myself, a guy will hold on to a number forever if possible. If you think the guy likes you, it may take up to a week. After that, there is a slim chance the guy is truly interested. However, the guy may not like talking on the phone. Many guys just hate chatting on a phone. Many prefer to see the girl eye to eye. If you like him and got his number, try contacting him and find out if he is interested. (You may want to wait that week first to see what he does first.)

Look for other guys, but keep loose if ya know what i mean give it another 5 days.... if he doesn't call back then move on :)

I heard a comedian say one time that when a guy ask a lady for her phone number it doesn't mean he will call her tonight or tomorrow. It means he will call sometime this century.

I've heard about this 3 day rule thing..no guy's ever used it when I gave him my number buut I dunno* So I'd give him til tomorrow at least*
