and why can't believers prove their faith on an intellectual level without using scripture from their books? and also, how are fundamentalists of all religions able to argue that theirs is the 'one true faith', as though God Himself came down and told them directly that they were right?

Right on! I think the term 'Blind Faith' sums it up

Because the whole foundation of faith is believing without scientific "proof". If we could prove the existence of God, then we wouldn't need faith. God is not subject to anyone's scientific analysis or studies, as much as many secularists would like to believe so.

According to the Bible, the only way to Heaven is through Christ. In other words, God Himself DID tell us that. So it only makes sense that Christians will adhere to that.

As far as other world religions are concerned, I couldn't tell you. Incidentally, those who don't believe in God, athiests or agnostics or whatever they are, are still religious to some degree. "Secular Humanism" was defined as a religion by the U.S. Supreme Court in the 1960's. Everyone has a world view.

Believers of religions try to prove things from the scripture of their holy books, but they do not have the proof that these holy books are true. So, to prove somthing by some un-proved scripture is simply a foolishness.

only the closed minded ignoramuses take the good book as anything.

it's scarey that these people have any say in any thing.

frightening.

scared people shouldn't be let to make their own decisions they're dangerous.

look what they're doing to the world.. i mean why do the xtians and other religious freaks go on about the 'end days' why? it's because they're making the end days.

they're devil freaks who are afraid of death and life.
