All my previous fiance's have proposed to me when drunk.
My husband also proposed to me when we were both drunk. I accepted, we married 6 months later, and are still married after 3 and a half years.
We will always remain married, he meant it when he proposed, he just needed the courage to ask me.
I would have accepted if he had been sober too, but it was nicer that we were both drunk.

I know I have done some stupid things while drunk. I have been proposed to 3 times, but they weren't drunk at the time. (at least I don't think they were!)

Yes, it was so disgusting and embarrassing. I was 16 and working as a cashier in a grocery store. A drunk man my Dad's age came in and asked me to marry him. He said he needed a wife to make him biscuits over a campfire because they were the best kind and then told me that I better not ever cut my hair short if I married him.

Nope, but I was a teeny bit high the night that I proposed to my fiancée :-D She said yes though, of course, and it was a great night. She was in bed and I was kneeling by the side of it. After she saod yes we cracked open a bottle of champagne and danced to Frank Sinatra in our underwear :-D And they say romance is dead...

kind of! We were both drunk and my fiance accidentally sent me to the bar with a £10 note and the receipt for my ring! Oops!

yeah and I endedup marring him! (I thought the git would forget he'd proposed so I said yes, but the next morning he had remembered) so a lesson from the wise, sometimes men who say they don't remember anything after a good night out are liars!

No, but when I was in NZ i had a dating site guy offer to marry me so I could stay in the country to work. Hadn't even met either.
Im wasnt' that desperate to have stayed there. He was good looking as well.

No but they may have done it coz they were nervous. talk to them about it when they have not been drinking to find out if the proposal was sincere!

Yup. My boyfriend often says about getting married when we've had a few drinks, but never says anything about it otherwise, so I still don't know if he means it or not!!!! been together three and a half years, living together nearly two!!!!
